Confluence: A Dialogue Between Image and Word

This exhibition brings together the work of Hungarian visual artist Marta Balla and Greek writer, healer, and teacher Spiros Siamos in a collaborative exploration of the relationship between painting and poetry.

The project grew through an ongoing exchange of ideas and mutual inspiration. Balla’s paintings emerged from Siamos’s poetic reflections on nature and life, with individual lines becoming the starting point for visual works. From there, the dialogue unfolded in both directions, as poems inspired paintings and paintings gave rise to new poems. Throughout the process, the artists remained in close conversation, allowing their practices to continually inform one another and creating a shared space where image and word enter into dialogue.
